HISTORY
The Dance Connection, established in August of 1989, was formerly The Millie Balint Dance Studio.
The studio is a corporation, directed and owned by three professional women - Maxine Cradle, Deborah Milecki, and Cynthia Trevisan. They manage and teach all of the 50 plus weekly classes and offer a variety of different dance styles to benefit all ages and levels.
The Dance Connection is known for being well organized and informative, having a responsible and respected staff, and maintaining and producing talented dancers and performers.
Our goal is to enhance each child's individual abilities while promoting good self-esteem and confidence. Our quality instruction and devotion to our students has been demonstrated over the past years.
Our studio performs at various venus throughout Ocean County entertaining audiences of all ages. Many of our students compete in local and statewide dance competitions each year. They also have performed numerous times in Disney World.

Cynthia "Cindy" Trevisan
Cynthia Trevisan has been Director/Instructor and co-owner of The Dance Connection in Toms River for the past 19 years. Prior to this, she was sole owner of her first dance studio in Warren, N.J. called Dance-N-Performing Arts Studio. She is a graduate of Montclair State University and holds a B.A. in Dance/Speech and Theatre Education. Besides teaching ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern and various other forms of dance since the age of 13, Cindy has helped with the choreography for many school theatre/vocal productions. She has performed with the MSU Dance Company and is recognized for attracting professional artists to her studio for dance workshops. Each year, she and her partners choreograph, direct, design and costume their students at The Dance Connection, for their yearly recital and various dance competitions. Cynthia has been an adjunct dance instructor at Ocean County College and was an Ocean County Vocational/Technical School dance coordinator/instructor to high school students. |
